Enjoy the sights of Aizawl on a city-wide tour, including a visit to the state museum at McDonald Hill in the town centre. Pick up trinkets that catch your fancy on your visit to the city’s main shopping centre, Bara Bazaar. Check out after breakfast and drive to Kohima (140 Km, 05 hrs from Imphal). On the way, stop over at the heritage village, a model village for all of Nagaland’s major tribes. Check in to your hotel on arrival for an overnight stay at Kohima.
Visit Khonoma (20 km, 1 hr from Kohima), an Angami Naga Village renowned for its valour and fiercely independent people. Return to Kohima for lunch, after which you will visit the Kohima Cathedral and the World War II cemetery.
