Day 1: Arrive at Gangtok

Upon landing at Bagdogra Airport, take a relaxing drive to Gangtok (5412 Ft, 5Hrs from Bagdora Airport). Check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir Excursion

Set out on a day-long excursion to Tshangu Lake (12400Ft, 3Hrs from Gangtok) and Baba Mandir (13100Ft / 1Hr from Tshangu Lake). The lake’s cool water perfectly complements the surrounding beauty.

OPTIONAL NATHULA 

You also have the option of a Nathula Excursion for which there is a supplementary cost which varies from month to month. A permit is required to visit Nathula, which needs to be applied for at least 72 hours in advance and proper documents are required for processing. Obtaining the permit to visit Nathula is not possible at the last minute, and it will be confirmed one day before your visit. Nathula is closed to tourists on Monday and Tuesday.

Day 3: Gangtok to Aizawl

Post breakfast, check out of your hotel and proceed to Bagdogra Airport to catch your flight from Bagdogra to Aizawl via Kolkata.

Be mesmerized by the eye-catching natural beauty of Aizawl, the scenic capital of Mizoram. The city is renowned for its handicrafts and is also an important religious and cultural centre for the Mizos. Enjoy the bliss of solitude and the refreshing atmosphere of this ideal hill station. In the evening you take a leisurely stroll wandering the local market.

Day 4: Aizawl

Enjoy the sights of Aizawl on a city-wide tour, including a visit to the state museum at McDonald Hill in the town centre. Pick up trinkets that catch your fancy on your visit to the city’s main shopping centre, Bara Bazaar. Then, move on to the Model Village at Falkawn located 18 kilometres south of the main city, and catch a glimpse of the traditional culture and lifestyle of a typical Mizo village.

Day 5: Aizawl to Imphal

Enjoy your breakfast, then check out and proceed to Aizawl Airport to catch your flight to Imphal, where you will check in to your hotel upon arrival. Post-lunch, visit Ima Market and Kangla Fort. Kangla Fort, built in 33 AD, is the traditional abode of the Meitei rulers of Manipur. It is positioned on both sides of the River Imphal’s banks, and its ruins are a popular tourist attraction.

Day 6: Explore Imphal

Other sites and attractions include Sadu Chiru Waterfalls, the Japanese War Memorial, and the INA memorial where Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose hoisted the tri-colour for the first time.
